DID YOU KNOW YOU HAD 4 CYLINDERS? [Part III]

I was listening to a speaker about a week ago. He went into
great detail about how he almost lost his life. He spoke of
one morning when he woke up and had an elephant sitting on
his chest. Now obviously he didn’t literally have an
elephant sitting on his chest, but he said that’s exactly
what it felt like when he woke up from the previous night’s
sleep.

When a few minutes passed, he started to feel a tingling and
numbness in his arm. He began to find it harder and harder
to breath. He went into his bedroom where his wife was
asleep and nudged her. He informed her that he thought he
was sick. She asked him how sick. He replied, “911 sick.” He
told her he thought he was having a heart attack.

This man’s name is Ron. He was in his late 40’s when he
experienced this terrible event. It didn’t stop there,
though. He had 2 more attacks in the hospital and almost
died. Doctor’s, nurses, family and friends wondered if he’d
“make it”. In fact, the doctor’s were preparing his wife and
children for the worst.

But Ron did make it. He was given a second chance.
If you ask him, he’d agree. He’d tell you that he’s the
product of grace and mercy.

He would also tell you that he never did anything to
necessarily bring him to that state of health. He didn’t eat
unhealthy. He just ate a lot.

Ron will also tell you that he will never take life for
granted again. He now walks 2 miles a day every day. He
loves life. He looks for opportunities. He goes after what
he wants. He lives. Ron is a survivor.

How are you treating your body?
You may have heard it said that you should take care of your
body because it’s the only one you have. Guess what. It’s
true. If you don’t take care of your body, no one else will
do it for you.

Did you know by treating your body well, you are also
feeding your mind? It’s a scientific fact that your physical
well being is somehow intertwined with your psychological
well being. Those who get regular exercise and eat good food
are more emotionally stable and are better equipped to cope
with life’s challenges.

I found this out for myself. It works and is definitely
worth a try. You won’t be sorry.

Apply good common sense. Be like Ron. Take care of yourself.
Take care of your family and friends by taking care of
yourself. They need you. You may still need to change a
life. If you’ve never thought about it – do. At least change
your life by taking care of your body if you don’t already.

Start a regular exercise regimen. Do it consistently for 90
days and then write me and let me how much of a difference
it has made. I know it will. It will make you more aware. It
will cause your mind to be sharper. You will definitely
benefit.

You may need to check with your doctor if you have an
impairment that may hinder certain exercises. There’s some
type of physical exercise that everyone can do to that would
create positive physical and mental results.

The 4 cylinders that we’ve been talking about the past few
weeks all overlap and have a direct effect on one another.
To fully live a complete and fulfilling life, use each
cylinder. That’s what they’re there for – to be used.

Here are a few places to go to take advantage of how to get
started in your 3 Cylinder for Forward-Living. Get your body
in sync with the other cylinders.

Next issue we’ll talk about the 4th and final cylinder for
Forward-Living.
