Lemon or Lemonade?

 

I know a guy who seems to have everything go his way no matter what happens. Life for him is nothing but smooth sailing. Do you know someone like that?

Would you say your life is like that?

Someone said, "When life hands you lemons, make lemonade." This guy, the one I'm talking about is never handed lemons. He's handed lemonade.

If you take a of any two people whose lives seem to be handed lemonade, you'll notice several things that are the same. What is about to be revealed to you is so simple - so deep and so ready to implement in your own life.

The following are 3 things that you need to start doing to stop getting lemons and go directly to the lemonade stand.

First: Expect Great Things
If you expect awful things to happen to you, that's what you will be focused on. Awful things will happen to you and you won't notice the blessings you receive. Fact = You'll miss them. So focus on the blessings that you are expecting. Expect big blessings. Plan for blessings. In fact, be a blessing to others like you'd like a blessing.

Second: Stay Around Those Who Build You Up
This can be difficult because a lot of the people who do not support you in ways of building you up may be some of your closest friends. That's okay. You didn't get where you are overnight and you're not going to change overnight. You can change overnight if you want to but for most people, they will do this part - with friends - gradually. Just know this. If you hold on to poison, you bound to get some on you. Don't mess with it. How you do that is your decision. But one things for sure, if you stay around poison, you're almost destine to be handed some lemons.

Third: Do Not Permit Any One To Intimidate You or Distract You From Your Goals
Here's a secret. Most people are not handed lemons. They choose them. We're really all available to receive the blessings of life just like those we see that seem to always win. But, if you really think about it, most of the time, we are all where we are in life by the choices we have made. If not, you can be in the same place or somewhere else by the choices you make now.

Just know that your outlook on how you receive blessings or cursed circumstances has everything to do with the way you receive either. You have a choice. You have a decision. Will you be a victim of receiving lemons? OR Will you be one of those rare individuals that is ready and prepared to receive the lemonade blessings of life.

This is a fact: If you decide to either way, you'll receive whichever way you believe. Give it the good old 30 day challenge and see what happens. Then, drink up!
