Happy New Year |
This one is going to be short, but I
wanted to definitely wish you a Happy New
Year.
A good idea is to look back and reflect
on where you just came from. Break out your
2004 "To Do List" and ask yourself some
questions - possibly some painful questions.
Or if you can't find that elusive list, rely
on your memory.
What did you accomplish that you were
pumped about beginning 2004?
Lose 20 pounds?
Get out of debt?
Work on your marriage?
Take your son fishing more?
Knock some strokes off your golf game?
What was it for you? How did you do?
I could go on with the questions, but my
point is to get you to think. Think about
why you did - or did not- accomplish what
you set out to do in 2004. Now if you didn't
meet those goals, don't beat yourself up too
much. Nail down why you didn't and DO NOT
repeat that pattern. Develop a different
plan of attack.
If you did accomplish your "2004 To-Do
List" ... Awesome! Congratulations! Now
don't stop there. Keep it going again this
year. What do you want to grow this year?
What do you want to annihilate?
Where ever you fall in these plethora of
questions, make sure you have fun in 2005. I
believe if you have fun tackling your goals,
you will be a lot more effect in achieving
your goal(s).
So enter 2005 with the mindset of fun for
finally fulfilling your goals.
HAPPY NEW YEAR!
Keep looking and living forward.
